House League (2nd-4th Grade)
There are two main differences between Travel Lacrosse & House League:
- Our travel teams compete against SEPYLA organizations (sometimes playing away games outside of Lower Merion Township), our house league is comprised entirely of Lower Merion Ashbee Lacrosse players who compete against eachother within Lower Merion Township
- Instead of full-field 10v10 lacrosse, our House League is a modified 6v6 version of the game where all players use short-sticks & rotate positions throughout the spring season. This format helps develop players skills on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball (instead of having them specialize at a specific position) and increases the number of touches each player receives during the game.
