About House League (1st-5th Grade)
Lower Merion Ashbee’s House League is a fun-filled introduction to team lacrosse, played in a 6v6 format. Practices will be focused on developing individual skills & team concepts in preparation for weekend games. The playing format is 6v6 with a goalie. Players will rotate positions throughout the spring so that they can gain experience on both the offensive and defensive side of the field.
Practice are held on Wednesday evenings with games typically on Sunday afternoons.
**New in the Spring of 2025**
- Expansion to include 1st & 5th graders.

- If numbers permit we will divide into set teams, otherwise coaches will divide into equal teams on game day to foster a competitive environment,
- Treinish League (3rd-5th Grade)
- Named after Ashbee's founder Norm Treinish, our upper divison of house league introduces more advanced team concepts while continuing to develop a strong foundation of offensive and defensive skills required in middle school and beyond.
